Our vision is to see Christians, transformed by God's Word and the Holy Spirit through biblical/theological training, living Christ's agents of transformation in the church and world, to the glory of God.

Mission

As an interdenominational, evangelical college, God has called the college to be an instrument of transformation, providing high quality training in Bible, theology, mission and practical ministry skills, so that men and women become more mature Christians, equipped to serve Jesus Christ effectively in the church and world.

Core Values

The Theological Principle God's Word and God's kingdom are the foundation of the college. It is:

  • Committed to study, believe, obey, preach and teach the Bible
  • Prayerfully dependent on God to guide the College and provide its needs.

 

The Guiding Principle Uphold the College's history as an evangelical and interdenominational, mission-centred College:

  • Open to the various streams within evangelicalism
  • Open to all Christians regardless of denomination, gender or ethnicity who uphold the college's evangelical ethos and fulfill the criteria necessary for training at the college
  • Committed to mission, locally and internationally

 

The Collaboration Principle Work together in a spirit of service and open fellowship with God's people:

  • Committed to servant leadership as the model for Christian ministry
  • Adopt a team approach to ministry in which board, faculty, staff and students work together to fulfill the college's mission
  • Maintain a strong commitment to community among the college faculty, staff and students
  • Cooperate with churches to which students belong or in which they work, with the desire to see students grow in Christian maturity and ministry skills
  • Cultivate positive, mutually beneficial relationships with Christian churches and organisations
  • Work cooperatively with other Christian institutions to maximise mutual benefit
