A one and a half year full-time course The CourseThe Diploma of Ministry aims to provide a good foundation of biblical knowledge for men and women already actively involved in the life of the church. The emphasis of the course is the development of people in ministry. The course consists of a mixture of classroom instruction, interaction and practical application, allowing students to develop their ministry skills and experience through supervised ministry/practical experience. Entrance RequirementsStudents are normally admitted upon satisfactory completion of Year 12 in an Australian school system or equivalent, but consideration will be given to other factors such as practical experience, maturity and motivation in the likelihood of future success. Provisional mature age entry is available for students over the age of 20. Students should be actively involved in the life and ministry of a local church or para-church group. Course RequirementsThe course requires that 48 credit points (12 units) be earned for the award of the diploma. This is equivalent to one and a half year full-time study. ArticulationStudents completing the Diploma of Ministry can continue with an extra year of study to complete an Advanced Diploma of Theology and academic credit may be obtained towards the Bachelor of Theology or Bachelor of Ministries.
