Crossway College and Emmanuel College have worked together throughout 2011 in providing a part-time program in theological education, working toward establishing a permanent campus of Crossway based at Emmanuel College, offering degrees in theology.
Crossway College (formerly Bible College of Queensland) is a multicampus, independent, evangelical and multi-denominational Bible and theological college. For more than 60 years the college has prepared Christians for various ministries in a range of contexts. The college offers quality and well recognised theological education to equip God’s people in Bible and mission. The central campus is located in Toowong, Brisbane.
Emmanuel College is an independent, multi-denominational Christian School which focuses on Gospel values. The School provides education from Prep to Year 12. It is located in Carrara on the Gold Coast.
The awards that are offered are accredited through the Australian College of Theology. Austudy, Youth Allowance and FeeHelp are available for eligible students.

Semester One:
PE420/620 Christian Apologetics
The purpose of this unit is to equip Christians in defending the Christian faith in the world today. It considers apologetics and the nature of truth; critiques of the Christian faith; and alternatives to Christian faith. It seeks to help Christians build a coherent Christian worldview in response to currents in Western thought.
Time: Tuesday evening, 6:00pm—9:00pm
Dates: 14 February to 22 May (with a mid-semester break)

Semester Two:
PE310/510 Christian Worldview
This unit seeks to build the “big picture” needed by every Christian in living the Christian life, making sense of the world and engaging with other worldviews. It provides an introduction to the concept of worldview; it overviews the Christian worldview and non-Christian worldviews; and it considers how a Christian worldview is applied to Christian life and ministry. Students will apply what they learn to specific topics, such as science, literature and the arts, education, politics, the media, etc.
