Mike was born in Germany but grew up in Ipswich. Mike joined the army, was a paratrooper and worked in military intelligence. He studied at Malyon College and the University of Queensland. Mike has been involved in local church ministry, especially preaching, and has taught for five years at Highland Theological College in Dingwall, Scotland.
Mike is married to Naomi and they have four children. He is a member of the Presbyterian Church. Mike is an outstanding scholar in the history and literature of Christian origins. He has published numerous books and articles in the field and runs one of the most popular blogs in theology, Euangelion. He is keen to facilitate the spiritual and theological formation of students. Mike teaches in the areas of theology, apologetics and New Testament.
