Director of Chinese ProgramBTh, MTh, DMinLecturer in Bible & Ministry Michael is originally from Malaysia. He taught in Crossway’s Chinese program as a visiting lecturer for six years before joining the faculty in 2007. He studied at Trinity Theological College (Singapore), the Graduate School of Theology in South-East Asia, and at Claremont in the USA. He was a visiting scholar at Andover Newton Theological Seminary in Boston. Michael is married to Ping and they have two grown up children. He is a member of the Chinese Methodist Church. He likes sport and often plays badminton and table-tennis to keep fit. Michael has more than thirty years of church ministry experience, serving in a number of churches and in different countries including Malaysia, Singapore, the United States and Australia. He is fluent in several Chinese dialects. He has written several books and commentaries on the Old Testament. Michael teaches in biblical studies and practical theology. |
